Invinceable (£5 version)

Was playing this at the bowling alley last night. Was £100 up from the various £35/£25 machines so decided to have a go at the £5. Payed £9 for a board! Almost twice the jackpot value! Imagine putting £68 pounds in a £35 for a board. And in that time i didnt even get a bonus.

In the end it gave me SSS and i hit 15 nudges which went to £4.40. Went all the way to the top for £5 :? Gave me 1 nudge on the last credit, went higher and got a 6, no win avaliable, expected to die, went higher and got a 9! Lower for another 6, still no win, definetley death this time, higher for a 10 bonus! This machines likes to win on 6s! Anyway that gave me a feature which landed on Super Fruit Stoppa which i took and got £4 as my friends were ready to start bowling. Both boards were orgasuming with redness, so i would have pushed it for another top.

How much do these £5 versions streak? If they cost as much as £35JP for boards, they ought to streak as much as £35JP machines. So a criminal £9 in for £9 out. Probably could of got won more but alas i had to go.

Lies, there is no 15 nudges, and as a general rule of thumb, do not leave reds redding

£9? I've done about £14 in a £5 red for a board before. I think £5 Pulsations streak best, had one roll for £60 odd before. Usually best to avoid them unless you see a wedge go in.

I thought that by the time they had released Jailbirds they had chipped out the keying?

I once legitimately had to pay £17 for a board on a £5 barcrest Crystal maze... not due to my stupidity or anything, it never once offered me a skill stop, and only one link up that didn't work. Was mind numbing at 5p a go.

I was going to give it till £20 then complain. But it finally relented, and killed me.

Heh - £5 Impulses, anyone? Wildfire was superb! ;)

I will say that I don't tend to bother with the £5 JPs anymore, solely because of the input:profit ratio being so skewed. However, I will have a cheeky pound or two in a particular £5 Pulsation, that seems to love doing £20-£25 tops off of 'most' boards. :)
