Quake

Heh - this oldy by Red is in a local venue, and thought I'd have a few quid. No-where near as nice as the more recent Red offerings was it? The reels are laid out differently - was playing havoc with my fruit-step / number-runner knowledge!
The number reel is also in a different order, so had to keep checking to ensure I didn't step to something dodgy!
Seemed a lot tighter on the gambles too, and there were cedrtainly less 'signs' of how well it was playing...
Got two tops, however, and got £55 each time (after about £50 in mind!).
Did anyone know what any of the features (hidden or shot) were? I pretty much missed this one out when it was new, can't say I was too upset!
Will stick to the newer ones methinks...

Quake was one of my favourite ever reds. Used to go very big when you got the quake feature, and in one of the clubs in york 2 years ago me and a mate cleared something like £110 out of it. Haven't seen one for yonks though.

Agreed, this had a huge streak in it, took the £100 on a couple of occasions. One of the hiddens was just like the modern day toggle cash (can't remember the name), but I'm pretty sure it would go to £15.
Wasn't there a method based around playing only for hiddens to build up your bank, before eventually pushing out the top feature (different pot, therefore unaffected by collecting hiddens?)
Quake £5 JP

Quake was absolutely amazing. Used to playt the £5 version and empty it for around £60 - £80 per day. Get the attendant to fill another £30 back into it on the day and slowly take it out. The mtr worked for about 6 weeks then it got taken away. Havent seen 1 since.

Yes, at one, very brief point, mystery wins (or was it two above) were free wins.
