New Red sighting - show me the mummy

Post by Dynamike »

£35/50p. FNC clone. Appeared to be dead but Hot Rocks (blue) gave me £18 so I walked. Didn't look like there was anything new about it really...

Dynamite im not saying its the wrond decision if you only had a 10er on you. But if its offereing more than 4/5 quid on normal then its there for a top.

That must be a one off then - there's no £3 block :P

When you completely destroy them they go down to £4 for a few quid, but otherwise its £5.

Quite. Hence me thinking it was dead. It then offered Hot Rocks which I thought would give £4/5 but alas. Can't complain.

When did Red 'do away' with JP features on their feature 'wheel' or 'stack'? I think it was with the release of Jackpot Gems? I'm sure the majority of their previous releases always had a feature that would at least offer a chance of JP?

Big Bucks is the only £25 value feature on OAR and the newer reds i think. Pyramid game/Money Mountain et al on TG would sometimes be top too.

Do you guys ever take these features though if you are into one of these machines? I find so often that they fob you off with that bloody £7. :(

I think the only two times I take features on Reds like OAR now are:

- I've put a few quid in, it's not playing, take the feature and try and get some of my stake back.

- I've just had a big top and have been offered Toggle / Pea / Stars.

Having said that, I did play a Rocky and took 'King of the Ring' after getting a £70 top which was milling about the £5 / £7 hits. Just as I was about to take the seven, it landed on the £35!!

Edit:
...can be...
...sometimes...
Those riders are probably why I (unfortunately!) 'don't' take these features unless one of the above criteria are met... ;)
