Yeah these are very poor on 25s, i can't imagine what these are like on the 35ers!!
Saying that, lately i have been catching these and making on them. I only tend to play for 2 boards, if it lights up then just go for the force. If it offers red treasure, or extra crown, then on the next bonus i just keep gambling the bonus for the extra crown etc. Been doing quite well off this method instead of just hi lo ing and hoping!

That's a disgrace :x
I'm in the club who's done over £100+ through one of these that was all red before it went. A bad machine just got worse it seems.

This is easily on a par with Sub Zero as being a diabolical machine. Luckily, there's only been two near me in the past and they only lasted a couple of weeks.
The only tip I can offer is that turning all the 6 notes at the top red gives you the top feature along with the normal get three crowns, all features red scenarios.
You'd think that a different team of programmers put this series together than that who created such marvelous games as GADD / DNA / CCP / OAR etc...

I mean how they program a machine to lose the 1st/2nd gamble as much as this and sub zero is beyond me, I mean a machine thats full and showing its arse off still costs for boards to go 10 lower 11, 3 higher 2, or 10 lower 6 then lose... etc.etc.
so tiresome when it keeps losing so low down over and over again...

My experience on these have not been as bad as most, noit really bad at all in fact. Ranks higher than DNA in my own personal playing experience(!)-£120 through a shower for a £35 top. and higher still than SZ, my all time worst.

Drag up old thread.....
I now have the privilege ( :x ) of a 50p/£35 Kings Ransom just appeared here. Fan-bloody-tastic.
Had a quick tickle earlier. Now, playing on 50p makes the safe active every board. No extra %, no enhanced payout. So basically play 50p and set it back loads. Thought it might show more etc, but no, i was wrong. Second weird point is that its in a pub, but set on LBO mode. Even better, just means the dead patches are even bigger. I ended up trying 4 boards, all were virtually green, and the best thing i took was a green target practice for a fiver. Lost about a tenner, then made £2 on the quiz machine to make up for its woefulness. One to avoid i think.

Also found my first £35 one of these the other day. No show for £50 odd and was getting worried but then showed and managed three crowns that went for £70 and £15 worth of safe wins so made a tidy profit. Not too sure about this though as didn't really like the £25 version.

...and why's that then?

Unless you have some 'other' knowledge, I still wouldn't touch this with a long piece of wood often associated with shipping arrangements...

Can you imagine if Red decided to use this profile in ALL forthcoming releases ?
Imagine playing a GADD with such a profile, I think that they know it would be bad business to do this, I think 'normal' Red's on the whole do well, we all get caught once in a while but at least they get a lot of cyclic play.
