Dirty Pulsation
Dirty Pulsation
Evening all,
Had a really nasty pulsation sting me and croz today. All red first board, bar steppa and find the pea, £27 from full. Very nice you'd think.
Well, it just took the piss. I can't be arsed to type the lot out, but basically we got 7 tops, which were in this order:
£10
£25
£10
£35
£20
£10
£40
The last £40 completely killed it, but by that point we were about £130 in and got £70 back, £30 down each. Never had one of these do the dirty as bad as that, guess it was going to happen eventually. Scumbag machine! :x

"Sixty percent of the time, it works, every time!"
Pulsation is easily my most hated Red. That being said, I'll still play it but it really has to be showing its tits in order for me to get involved.
I hate the speed at which Mega Spins eats your cash, they could have at least programmed it a little slower, so annoying when you go a tenner+ without a board.
On the other hand, it's not as scary as a Holey Moley on 50p Mega Spin, but I've yet to find one that doesn't give a board fairly regularly.
In fact, I'm lovin' 50p spin Reds at the moment.

Yep kid, 50p £25 reds are the way to go. There's a nice 50p on a roll and 50p crazy cash point in two adjacent pubs here, both of which are usually superb to play!
As for the pulsation, the pointlessly shite tops (<£20) really get on my wick. No need for it at all.....i'd rather it blocked a bit longer and gave me £25+ every time like most other reds. You'd certainly knew where you stood more. Nothing worse than denying a red hidden riches (£15-£20 odd usually) only to put £15 more in for a £10 top. Disgusting.

Re: Dirty Pulsation
Just out of interest, did it show mostly reds after the first board consecutively ? or just red's mainly then a few with say 4 or 5 reds ?Mattb wrote:Evening all,

I don't mind pulsation but I think everyone will admit they have been stung by it at least once even when it shows can cost for the big top......
Annoying thing for me seems to be when you get all features red does not very often give you more than the one £25. Yes next top can be all blue and go for £40-£60 make sense of that.
and the boxes on this machine are a waste of time tenner at most :x

Boxes can be more than a 10er. Ive had 25 off notation twice now, im not sure what cause some of those notes to go red though.
I have too been stung by pulsation, but on the upper hand i have had some very good experiences... 70/75 tops. The fact like you said Matt, it offers good red features but then takes like 15 quid for a top which goes for 10!! I guess thats how the machine is building up the streak + making money.
Just to clarify things, the best way i have found to play these is, if its red featuring. Force for a top, hopefully it will go larger than 10 pound. If it continues to go red, collect good features, red boxes, good cash wins. If you get number runner gamble for the top.
You will find out that you will make more money than the straight force.

I think everyone who plays red's has had at least one bad experience on this. I find it usually plays with you, offering £10 after £10 but then will throw you in a £50+ and you make about a fiver. :x
As regards to the notation toothless, the notes are red from what you had in the feature before you take hiddens, if that makes sense. Not as good as notation on others though, SA, Invin etc. at least you have a bit of influence on the outcome on those.

Yeah, as someone pointed out to me, every two features you have or turn red through gambling the features, means an extra red note at the top. Notation is random shot at the top, not affected by the middle number like most/many reds :x
I've never had more than £25 from this when all features red.
PS: has anyone turned all features red on a red and NOT got the top like casino crazy does all the effing time?
