Hi all, just got this replace a ptpt in one of my local haunts.
Not really a red gaming player(apart from lab),tried a search but doesn't seem to be much about this one.
Anyway played yesterday only showing 2/3 red features but continued to check out a few features to see what they done.£40 in got the board and all red straight away up to the top for £40(5,5,25,5).
Checked for afters and pulled about £10 before it died, whereas lab seems fairly progressive this just dumped without any prior good-play.
Anyway to the question

,do you regard these as a "good" red to play?,any tips?.

Erm, I think this thread is going to confuse a lot of people - not least the poster!
I'm pretty sure you're referring to the machine called Jackpot Gems, which has a top feature called 'Jewel In The Crown'. I'm pretty sure you aren't referring to the Maygay clone called 'Jewels In The Crown' as it has neither red features nor a 'top feature' which pays in the denominations you mentioned.
Have a look through the Red Gaming forum for Jackpot Gems and you'll find loads of posts.

Its an ok red
Tops can often be £25 though
Then the next top can cost £20 again giving £25
Had one roll for £100 once a few months back
£25 top followed by £75
By the way the m/c is called Jackpot Gems
Jewel In The crown is the top feature
Also how did it give £40?
Surely it was £25 then £5,£5,£5
It has to give £25 first, either made up from the £10 and £5's or a straight £25
Then credit break
Then go again
Also if offered golden hold, always check for JP, as it likes to give it on this m/c, from both red and green
Hot rocks can give £24 from green had this once
Had £25 from it red
TBH it has been discussed in depth on the Jackpot Gems thread :P
