LEgal Mofo Tender

Just ruined a whole day of playing around the city and ended up break evens after legal tender punished me.

Short version for those who cant be arsed to read is 140 in for 70 out.

Long Version as follows,

in a club i regularly hit on monday nite, due to weekend taakings in 8/10s ready. used to be bfu but this week they've put a tender in.

wach some goon go on and get 4 reds on feature entry, he did about 10er in it, keyed it and was only 10 off. thoguht id go for it.

didnt really how many great signs unti 30 in, i discover number reel is FUCKED and after 50 in get it for a basic 20...... not impresssed. recycle the 20 for another top, 20 again..... no way hosè!

recycle the 20 plus another 10 (60 in total now) for another top....20 AGAIN !! WTF!!

seems to give me a few very red boards, think ill start to take features bbecause gambling is being tricky with the cacky number reel. Take red hidden riches for 16..... then machine goes stone cold dead.

So im sitting thre with a 30 bank from 60 in on a pretty much full legal tender. Nah I say to my self and re-force. This is where I shoulkd have stopped, it did the nasty on me.

30 went back in, plus a 20 sheet, then another and another and halfthrough another 20 note (by this time the reel has sorted itself out) it goes for gobsmackingly poor 45...95 down. no chance. Next few boards are dead bar a £10 stoppa fruit.

last few credits of the notes are transferred and i get a skillstop, hit 99 and it gambles up, goes for 35.

leave with 76....

thinking back I was very lucky to get the staggered streak, even tho it was rather poor. Can't beleive it went 110(30 + 80 in notes) before paying out big again. Im thinknig maybe taking that hidde nriches after the top completely wipd out the streak altogether? personally im very confused by the whole experience.

yeh I had something similar on one in charing cross station pub, cost well over a ton to show reds, then gave a few spaced out £20's, and then finally an uninspiring £50 which killed it leaving me £85 down.

tender really can be awful if you catch it at the wrong time, and thanks to refill, it being full doesnt really mean too much.

Yeah it pisses me off royally too, and sometimes on pulsation. It should give £25 at least i reckon, like DNA/LAB. Why gamble past £10 to only get £10? :x

The Pulsation i pushed in Ipswich gave 4 tops to get £80 (£20,£20,£10,£30). That cost the good part of £60 to get that! It just appears its harder to get a consistently good top on these like DNA/LAB, which often go for the £50/£75 in one hit.

personally i think any machine that can pay a tenner for the top feature is shit,

true they do runs of £110 but its too much of a pain when they dont run properly, there are certain reds id travel to "play" and legal tender, stack attack and pulsation are definitely not on that list..

reds are probably the best thing to be playing at the moment, but not just anything with a red badge on it, be a bit more choosy guys, legal tender etc are fu*ked, they take too much effort, and dont always roll at the end, at least with a few of the others you know that you will get £75 back at some point, 150 into one and you know you're getting 75 back, 150 in a legal tender for a £10 top is not funny

Stack Attack pays £25 from the end Spyder not like LT and Pulsation. Thats the thing with this type of game is that the one end of the spectrum you will get alot of £10's but the other end you can get over a ton which other reds won't do in one go. Gotta take the rough with the smooth I suppose.

the chance of getting a ton+ on tender is VERY VERY slim, so its hardly a redeeming feature, also it likes to do £35 on the top, which often kills the roll of, where the others must do a minimum of £50 to kill the roll ( ie. showing reds ), so often you end up disappointed...

1 redeeming feature I suppose of tender is that it is relatively easy to get the top when its showing, other than that, not great imo.

My technique for LT and Pulsation, is to not necessarily play for the top. I've had a good £85+ from around thirty in by collecting £6/£8/£10 from the cash trail and red features.

I wouldn't dare do this on any other Red of course! :)

Agreed mate, the ton doesn't come around that often but it they do have a tendancy to go for £60-£90 quite regular, however the consecutive £10 tops and the £30-£40 tops when your £40-£50 in that kill it off are the real downers. Not my favourite of reds but was just trying to point out there can be good sides to them aswell as bad.

Aggree with above do not force the LT Ive never forced and allways get a profit from this one with 6 to a tenner i never really lose on this one even when dead. ittll give between 45 and 60 just from a smaller win steak session, although 45 to 50 is more common, ps never ever taken the top feature or played for it..
and I do like this mc more than crests
