Well, speaking personally, for a start it really tightened up the hi/lo, which led to frequent deaths on 2s and 11s, well before any sort of cutoff was reached. The board cost was also a lot more than on other Reds of the time. Yes, the bonus gamble was generally the way to go (as with KR), but even that was pretty tight on this one. How many times would it bomb out on the first gamble?! I may be wrong, but if I remember, it would rarely give a 'top after a top' like most others?
