these are bolocks , of the highest order , agreed . but they dont false red

however alpine m8 , after your first 35 ,,,,,, you didn't mention whether it triggered redding or not ,,,,,, just because it gambled to a tenner , didn't mean it was still redding up ,,,,,

and judging by the next few lines of your post ,,,,,,,,, it most certainly wasn't

plus you stated that it was redding up straight away when you first got on it , meaning it was probably left in that state by some average joe , with only one in it.

not like you made it red up yourself from investment , to guarantee 2 .

honestly m8 ,,,,,,,, not having a go at you personally ,,,,,,,, but some of these horror stories on this site , are brought on by people's own stupidity .

Fair point.

Well after the £35 it was redding up 5 or 6 so pretty dubious.

In all honesty I think I carried on going for it as this clubs machines are pretty much always buzzing. And when u key them they are always like around £150 out as people can't be arsed going to the bar for change as the place is packed.

So not a horry story as much as I'm just annoyed I went on it in the first place.

fair points m8,,,,,,,,, they sometimes can lead you into a false sense of security ,

best one i ever had was in stratford-upon- avon ,,,,,,,,, 7 in 105 top ,,,,, first machine of the day aswell ,,,,, thought it boaded well for the rest of the town ,,,,,,, but everything else was nailed.

unless it was in an out of town ,,,,,, village pub in the middle of nowhere ,,,,, or a non usual venue , like a hotel , i dont bother goin in for em ,,,,,, havent played one for at least a year.

ps 6 reds isn't redding ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

6 red is an odd amount though.

And another thing is I half think I pushed it through just because I'm damn sick of never really making on them (not a good mentalitly obviously)

£7 in for £105 though? Nice.

And I'm the same - I'm not pushing another one.

I always thought that >6 (not >=6) reds was 'usually' redding - although it had to be consistent.

On a similar note, found a SMTM on Friday which, despite showing zero life (I was about to leave it after my 11th quid! ;) when it gave twelve nudges for £15 which topped out for a £70. As I was the only one in the pub and the landlady was mildly interested - I took it out a bit at a time and popped the odd quid in during that time and played it on normal spins. Last credit *coughed* for NR - £25 which also went up for a £70. Happy times! Outlay was about £20 for that.

The point relating back to this thread is that, there was very little red to be seen!

Heh, that one was in particular - although I got riddled on the STC down the bowling alley - how much does that love killing on the £15-£25 gamble. Grr... :(

There's only one thing worse than a 50p/£35 Snakez.

And that's a 10p/£5 Snakez, which I sat and watched somebody play - and it was truly appalling.

Please don't flame me, just after some opinions - playing a 70% Snakez at a train station - stuck a few quid in on Monday, for a quick £25 profit, and the same again today.

Both times on 50p mega spins - both times I took Sharp Shooter blue (because I figure it's a train station machine, shit percentage, just make a quick few quid and run) - and each time, Sharp Shooter blue gave me £20 ish in a combination of wins... both times £7 first shot, then a £5 and then bits and pieces. I guess this probably meant it was ready?? Playing today it was backing, and Sharp Shooter blue offered on first board after £3 in, which I took again. After that, £7 cash win, £7 safe cash ("upgraded" straight to £7), and a £8 from 4 winspins. I'm guessing I probably could've had a top there as it was redding, but you know what it's like at train stations on 70%, I just figure make a quick profit on the journey to work!! :D

Cheers! :)

I've read horror stories about SnL so £50 profit from one on the bare minimum % is a result in my eyes!
