reds def are the way forward anfield..in terms of numbers they are by far the least known machines in terms of peoples playing methods, any idiot can play a barcrest or a vivid but reds even if you do know what you are doing it can bring in suprises..ie swapping from £15 on a LAB to 12 nudges and the best of offer being £3...people see this and they lose hope...it does happen...i was just amazed to see such a buzzing machine do such a shit cycle...

my route is nearly 100% red..bar one maygay...

Reds are a double edged sword though. Yes they are the biggest money makers, but can equally be the biggest money takers. If your round is all reds, you could lose £50 odd just testing the water if you got a really dead one that cost £20 a board.

I'd much rather have an extreme and barcrest round. Cheap boards, you immediately know where you are, and have a much greater chance of not being stung. I've got quite a nice mix of everything here if i can be bothered to travel. Trouble is i often can't!

Totally agree. If you have a huge selection of reds then you can easily lose lots of money. If you streak them as well then you know you have to wait 3-4 days for it to be ok, what do you play in between?

If you have crests and extremes then you have a better chance of making a profit + they don't take as many days for them to be ready again.

Extreme's are getting rare and even the few left are usually burnt and little profit - and what crests are you talking about - there's hardly any around??? wobblers rare, and the other good crests are even more rare - the odd taylor darts wow, which imo is the worst darts clone anyhow, wouldn't even bother going to a pub for it.

Besides which, if your in a town which aint burnt, reds will be mint

Yeah, i have a nice selection here now though, about time!

2 LABs
2 Campers
1 Most Daunting
1 YDD
3 Raiders (immense!)
1 Bully
1 very old picking vamp

+ plenty of other reds (holy moely, on a roll, JP gems etc) which are unfortuantely usually never ready. Still much better here than it was a few months ago. 8) No-one here knows how to do the extremes as far as i know.....every time i go on them they are £2+ starting. Glorious.

Well, i would be more lucky if people from Norwich (*coughdunham/pickareelcough*) didn't visit here 2 times a week! :D :P

Only joking. Seriously though, that small selection is good enough to lure those two from Norwich to here 1-2 times a week......says it all really! 8)

Nope - but out of interest, what were the other machines on £35JP?

Still no sightings of the new £35 Red, called Crazy Cash Machine either ..
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

The South Mimms hell-hole is now favouring the £35 JPs. All still stuck on a questionable, 70% with the bonus 6% on 50p a spin, making it top value for money, oh joy.

They are:

Billy The Quid
Fruits You Sir
Mental Money Martians (ok this compared to the above 2)

Also seen a Cock-a-doodle-whatever thingy on £35JP

Played a board on it, got offered 6 cash strikes which i took
Gave me £10
How can the jump from £10-£35 be justified
How long will this block for??

I certainly was not gonna try and find out
Took my tenner and ran
