Tops paying Minimum

Post by mjd »

your thoughts please...

Its definately a common thing now. Infact Nowadays im suprised when a top goes for more than the minimum. The Barcrest is the fruit machine equivalent of the Berlin Wall

Not at all. Games Medias love to do £70s and £105s, and reds do big tops all the time too.

depends on the situation. yes GR/Warped/etc do normally go for a 70/105 or 35 then 105 or even 70 then 105! golden game grands are where the money is! these can do 175 tops within the light streak!!!

MJD - are you referring to Reds doing flat tops, or machines in general?

If you're talking only about Reds, I think they do a lot of staggered streaks, yes.
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

From my experience, red are awful, BF and BC are ok and games media are the best. But there is an important difference.

On machines like extremes, games media and BF you know if you have filled the machine enough for the eventual top to be £50+. On reds, i find it IMPOSSIBLE to know this. Thats wat i find anyway.

Obviously playing them wrong then. Why not guarantee yourself a minimum of two top features by playing them properly!

Well i'm glad you said that as Reds are one of the best for repeating. SMTM and SNL not as much but previous reds loved to repeat. Compair this with Barcrest's and BF repeats and there's no comparison.

I prefer boards where you can move around myself - the result may be the same but the gameplay excites me more than simply hi-lo the whole time.

The few times i have managed repeat tops it has been solid £105s or £70s in one go, never staggered as always seems to be ARB1 again.#

Edit: repeat tops on reds

It seems that reds nowadays love their staggered streaks, but if played correctly you should get too out of them at least. Other manu's such as barcrest are terrible lately whereas games media do love 35+ including 70s/105s.
