how much £££ do you try

Post by Scott »

how much are people willing too risk for there first board on a red before walking?? i usually stick too £10 and if i don't get a board from that i'll walk away, but playing jackpot gems friday night that cost £18 from full too give me my first board that was ARB2. I was determined too get a board because it was full and it paid off. a mate of a mate said he paid over £30 for his first board that was ARB1, seems too risky too me. do any players have the attitude that i'm having a board whatever???

I usually just play for it whatever. Even when you are forcing an OAR on 50p Mega Spins it can go £9 or something and get nowt for example. Refill and board state are usually more important than board cost. 8)

its not asif it happens often. keying is important in knowing whether to touch it at all.

I find that on a roll and jackpot gems are the worst for your first board even when full. cost me £15 the other day then bumped me going higher than a two on one nudge without a win in sight :x :x :x :x .

I've got three pubs on my run that have a red and an extreme next too each other, and after battling away for 15 minutes too make £10 on the extreme too just throw it in a red in under a minute is a bit annoying, saying that i did catch one of the reds on saturday for £60 profit so can't moan too much :D

its the same with any machine, once you've through a certain amount without a board its impossible to leave it without seeing your board through

Same here. Don't think i've ever left a machine without at least getting a board. Usually play for about 3 boards just incase somebody has recently had a tenner or something like that.

Yeah knocking back the green boards is a good method but ifits not there then the green boards will keep coming. I play for a board any way, but usually know the state of the machine as i only play reds which i have played previously and have timed. It might well cost 10pound for a board but then if you get like a toggle climb or mixed boxes you will only lose a 5er. Thats the risk in trying reds.

Also on Holey moleys, JG, OAR, et al you only know if these are there if they a) Go all red (Which you normally get the top that board or the board after)

b) If you play them on 50 play/ mega spins. It will eventually offer 12 nudges, if it offers 3/4/5 quid then its normally all green and the m/c is dead. However, 7 quid + then its normally there.
