So keying and reading meter really does help, for me anyway - never had a bad hit on the ones I keep on top of
But on the minus, then you never know how many notes have gone in, but if the numbers have stayed the same worst case is
1. nobody has played it
2. someone has played it and won/lost by same amount
3. it's been played with notes and they lost
end of the day you still got to try it, had exact same scenario, thought no ones played this since I last did machine (hopper level - refill was same as I left it - £210 off), and would be dead but still managed a 140! for £11 in!!
Useful ? 50/50 imho.
