Hi guys great site by the way
I bought my mates fruity the other day and kinda restored it and got it sorta working. Everything looks great now although there are a couple of small things id really appreciate help with.
1. I have no refill key so doesnt look like I can use the Coin Dump thing?
2. When power off and try to set the jackpot and per play it looks like it lets me do it but when game starts it is automaticly on 30p spins?
3. I just got 777 but it was blue red blue which should be like 2 quid shouldnt it? But anyway it gave me 15 quid? As if it was blue blue blue?
Also the little man faces that it says 3 in view for bonus doesnt seem to work at all? I have had 3 in a row and 3 in view? Just realised some hats are red and some are blue so I thought maybe its got to be same colour but still no.
Also the coloured background if i get 3 in a row they dont seem to do anything? And sometimes I get bonus for what looks like nothing.
Would think the things where set wrong but all cherrys etc in a row work.
Maybe I just dont know how to play Pie Factory?!
Any help would be MUCH appreciated!! Really!!
Thank you

1/ Buy a refill key off ebay - only a couple quid. (you could use a screwdriver to short the the terminals but you could risk blowing the MPU - not worth it)
2/ They 30p play is the default setting if no key is in the MPU saying otherwise.
3/ Sounds like the reelbands are in the wrong position. There are more than one set of cherries on each reel so that would explain why they are ok.

cheers
if they are in the wrong reel the basiclly its nackered? cant imagine being able to change them would be some challange.
but
when you turn it on the machine spins the reels and lines everything up and cherrys are in row, above the 777 are in row and below lemons are in row. before it shuffles them. so it looks like it knows where they are and they are right.
also with pie factory on the decals where lights change the colours of the guys hats where it says any 3 in view. maybe i just have to get the colours right ? no idea i think its just the reels wrong but dont understand how before the game it looks like its set perfect

Not reali techi person but on a pie factory its any 3 symbols in veiw gets a board so if your saying that uve had 3 in veiw and its not gave a board then the reels must be off set!

I think Jaffacat got it spot on, but you've mis-understood what he was saying. He did not say that you have got the wrong reelbands, he said that they are in the wrong position. Your machine is NOT scrap. Your stupid mate probably took the reels out, and then replaced them, but not from where they came. When your machine "thinks" that reel 1 is showing X, it's actually showing Y, or the other way about, when you think it's showing a winning line, the machine knows it isn't.
All the reelbands are different. Take one of them out, and look very carefuly at it ~ it will be numbered somewhere ~ usually near the join. Reel 1 should be to the far left of the machine as you look at it, then reel 2 next to that etc.
As for the refil key ~ just put your hand in your pocket and buy one off e.bay. If you're a real cheapskate though, it's possible to link the 2 "pins" on the back of the refil lock together with a piece of wire or something, just as a short term measure perhaps.
Good luck

ive tried mixing the reels up when its turned off but when i start it up again it just arranges itself. it lines everything up perfect before mixing and letting u play.
some reason it thinks 777 red blue red is 15 quid
and the heads dont work.
but no matter where i shuffle them when its off it just arranges itself again and still same prob

That wont work. You need to physically remove the reelbands from the reels themselves and put them back in the correct position because it seems obvious that they have been altered!

If you cant work out exactly where to relocate the reelbands, play the machine in freeplay mode and get as jackpot - get a win first and gamble up to jackpot by holding down (I think) the hold 1 button as you go hi-lo(you cant lose the hi-lo gamble this way). Once it has given you the jackpot - the way you are speaking the jackpot symbols wont be on the winline. Switch the machine off at this point. Open up the front, mark on the actual plastic part of the reel - not the reelband - with a pencil or whatever, then you know exactly where to position the bands as there is only one jackpot symbol on each reel.
Does that make sense?

Why not just put it in test and select reel test?
shoud be easy to see if the reels are in the wrong order and swap them over.

Good plan.
Some reel bands that were not glued to the reel could physically slip round. In that case it should be easy to reposition.

Hi
Nope I think you guys are misunderstanding me.
Each reel only has 1 jackpot logo and if I get these 3 in a row then its a 25 quid win. So its recognising them.
Its just the 777's its like its not recognising the colours.
And the faces (feature entry, 3 in a view)
With the faces the machine does seem to recognise the one on the right wheel.
I can still get the 3 in a view by auto nudge but obviously when i do this its only the right wheel thats got a face in view!! if you get me.
I really dont understand

Maybe the wrong bands for the machine - dont know if PF1 & PF2 had different bands?
Very strange!
Maybe reel 1 and reel 2 are the wrong way round?

again this is only with the 3 in view feature but seems like it thinks the left reel is 2 pics up on what it actually is and the middle reel 8 up from what it actually is.

Maybe a silly idea, but it might answer some questions for us lot out here. Unplug Reel 1 (furthest to the left as you look at it) and remove it. Look on the inside of the reel carefuly until you find some writing ~ usually near the join.
Hopefuly, this should identify it as reel 1, and also what machine it's from. Replace this reel, and then repeat the action for reel 2, which should confirm it to be reel 2, and that it's from the same machne. Finally, if you've not guessed, do the same again for reel 3.
If they're all in their right position i.e. 1, 2 and 3 and that they are all from the same machine, we will have to re-think this through carefully.

FFS!
of course it will give a jackpot because all jackpot symbols are at position 1 on each reel.
PUT IT IN TEST
