isa card not found

Hope someone can help. I have a JPM gamebox, and it keeps displaying "isa card not found call engineer". The probelm seems to be intermittent, and sometimes if I give the machine a bit of a shake and switch it off and on again it will boot up ok (I'm a great engineer)! However, the problem is happening more often. Does anyone know what this means - just wonder if it is a loose connection somewhere - if so, where is the isa card on this machine?

I think you will find it inside a big box that some of us call 'computers'

:D

Take it out and clean the contacts on the edge of the card.

Indeed it's in the bottom of the machine, within the part that is known as the "PC tray".
It slides out on a board after some of it's connections are removed.
Unscrew the metal cover next to the hard drive, and the ISA card is one of the upright boards stuck into a slot on the motherboard.

It might even just be as simple as reseating it.

These cards did have a habit of blowing one particular chip (usually when the power supply failed) but this would cause a continuous fault - not intermittent.
