Post by andrewberwick06 »

okies just grabbed my 1st frutiy needs a lot of tlc to get it running didnt cost a bean so im hoping some of you can help ..

okies its a vivid/barcrest ALL 4 ONE mpu5

picked it up from freecycle website for my area and mailed the guy asking about ithe repsonds saying that some of the wireing has been cut.

so i get it home last night and set to work.

i have taken out most of the wireing that was cut and can see that the coin mech and psu looms have been totaly severed now i wouldt want to repair the psu loom as i dont have a clue about the configuration of the psu in a fruity

so does any 1 know where i can grab some new looms for this fruity at all ?
below is a little project site about it you can see from the photos what has happened

Looks like a bit of a nightmare. Possibly would have been better off splicing the wires in situ...
I scrapped a few MPU5 machines recently and although I still have the looms they are in a great big ball with a load of others...

Are the lamp looms still there?
