Just paid out £700 on buying Reel King Slotto, that was advertised as in good nick..Came with lots of credits banked up(found out later why)also cursor was showing on screen, wherever you touch the monitor cursor moved there.while playing it to get rid of them it was jerky abit so i cut corner and recycled £50.00 coins through payout hopper by collecting.got it to zero to see what screen saver does, well it just froze up

..Arcade i bought it from did a runner

ops: ! Anyway i put a new Ram Chip in it which fixed the problem.Have no manual,so how do you get the anoying cursor off? Any ideas would be greatfull thanks.....

I the cursor is still there then it must still be in test.
How did an arcade "do a runner"?

Provided it's the original hard drive, there should be a folder called 'scripts' on the c drive - open that and run the file 'mouseoff.exe'
Or if that's not there, create a blank cursor file, go to control panel->mouse->pointers use 'browse' to load the blank cursor file as 'normal select'
Obviously you'll need a keyboard and a bit of computer knowledge

i mean they promised to send a tech'y guy out but heard nothing from em,despite repeated calls from me..tried the test button, that brings up all the test menu,if i press it again nothing happens till i shut door which puts it back to the game with cursor still there...if i fix a keyboard to it do i press a key while it starts up,e.g press f10 for con fig setup or sumet like it?there is a few choices to press certain keys on start up.might have to unplug something as they look like all slots are taken up to plug key board in...thanks

USB keyboard, should be spare slots, boot up to game then kill it (task mng or alt+f4)
then win+e etc.....

Doh!
Sorry forgot, I forgot the c drive is write protected using MS EWF manager, you need to run 'commit.bat' before rebooting for it to save the changes, try it, it should work iirc.
For more info google for EWF Manager Commands.
Hmm

Ok, try this 1st before doing mouse off.
press win key + r, should show run dialog box, then type
ewfmgr c: -commitanddisable -live // this should disable the write protection on the HD
Then run mouse off and reboot.
Sorry but this is all from memory.

Dont know where to find a tech'y guy to look at it,could do with a clean out as well, as it still runs slower compared to party times slotto i had.thinking of putting another ram chip in so it will have 2 in then it might speed it up.many thanks for your replys....

The previous should defo work,
try win+r and type 'cmd' to get dos box the type the above again, at least that way you will know if it has worked, then run mouse off
