hi got this machine

i know how to turn the sound DOWN but zero volume still has bloody volume on it??? its not loud but still has sound, any way to turn off completly?? or am i being thick??

If it wont turn down completely, I would say the easiest way would be to physically unplug the speaker. Just pull off one of the speaker wires, will easily go back on if you ever want to put it back on as its just a spade connector.
