Maygay cash is king not accepting any coins.

Post by jon_1978 »

I have a maygay cash is king with a M1B main board and a mars 126 coin unit. Its not accepting any coins, Does anyone know what the 8 switch blocks do on the M1B board, also how can I test my coin unit for power? I connected the refill meter and now the CL lits on so just need to get it to accept coins and im laughing.

Regards

Have you tried putting come more float in the hopper? It thinks it's empty by the sound of it so won't take credits.

I have tried it in test mode using the red button on the mainboard and also closed the lid and reset the machine, then tried filling it with the refill key. I have tested the coin sorter with 12v and both work. only other thing is theres a 18 pin connector as you can see from my pic, is this correct? I really need to test a working coin unit both reader and sorter so as i know if its the machine or the coin unit.

That's the routing plug - it won't affect coin acceptance, just where the sorter sends coins.

hey mate---no wonder you dont know what i mean---thats the routing plug which determins the (routing )of the coins---thus if you have not got the other plug in there will be no power to the mech---there for no pulse to the board telling it to credit------

Some of the 126 models have a green led that lights when all is well.

Otherwise the only way to test is to plug it in and test with coins.
