Reel King hopper problems

Hi im having a problem with the pound hopper comes up with an error saying hopper swich error, any help on clearing this
The hopper is a Azkoyen hopper plus parallel 24v

There is a microswitch underneath the hopper bowl, it switches with the weight of the coins in the hopper.
Check that first.

it could also be a jammed coin in the exit sensor

That would normally come up as an opto error though.

can u give me a litle more information where the mircoswich is and what do it look like as i not to sure if i have found it.

I can't find a photo unfortunately, and not seen one myself for ages. One of the other tech guys might be able to give you a better description.... sure these have a switch under them though.

Depending what machine and how old it is,Astra Used Azkoyen hoppers in their dome top machines,quite a few of those hoppers had only a switch at the coin exit,later replaced by opto.
The exiting coin had to push on a roller arm which in turn depressed the switch.
Common faults were the roller/arm had broken or collapsed or the wired micro-switch had failed,also check that exiting coins move the roller arm enough to operate the switch.
I have used Astra as an example because if there was a problem with the hopper exit switch the alarm showed as hopper switch.
