Homers meltdown problems

Seems to be alot of problems with these machines on here.
Well, guess what? I moved it also and its kinda been outside for a few months (covered of course).
Well, my problem is pretty weird, the PSU is working fine, all LED's are on.
On the MPU, the first 2 LED's do not light (They are the LEDs to show that the machine has not booted and the software is loaded).
But, Last night, i left it on for about 4 hours, and the next morning turned it on and LED 1 was on.. Maybe its the battery in the MPU needed charging? Well i turned it off again and it decided it would break again, so i'd like to ask here. Later today i'll be taking the battery out and testing its voltage, just to see if its at the 3.6v i think needed. If it is i can blame the MPU, otherwise it could just be the battery? Its a bit puzzling because the LED 1 comming on after leaving it on for a while could prove the problem is this. But anyway even if its the MPU, is there any way to tell if my EPROM's are the game or working? I don't have a clue where to get the 4 needed for the game.. if anyone could help, or give advice i'd be grateful, thanks.
