hi does any one now the correct battery voltage for jpm mps1 main board and is the mps 2 useable on a mps1 machine

2.4v or 3.6v battery will work,but replace those round ni-cad batteries as they can leak and damage the boards. Both mps 1/2 are interchangable, mps2 just a smaller board but both operate the same.
