Note Changers

Post by Slammer »

Can someone please explain to me what is the difference between the NV4 NV7 and NV8 note changers.

Mate wants one fitting in his kebab shop "Getting Ziggy With It" to increase revenue ;-)

Fitting looks easy enough (remove blanking plate and connect the wire loom, im presuming) but I have no idea which one he needs to buy.

Cheers, Mark

You might also find the software does not support a note changer,so as well as the changer, mountings, loom etc, the game program may need to be upgraded before it will work.

Be warned, before you work on the machine as renewing permits for machines in such as taxi/mini cab offices, take aways and other non-arcade unlicensed premises were withdrawn 1st August 2006.So has your mate still got a valid permit(as some dont expire till 31st July 2009).
Local councils have started enforcement and prosecution on unlicensed premises. And the gambling commision(Gaming Board) on unlicensed engineers/anyone working on gaming machines sited for public use.
