Hi,
I have the above machine and have a couple of issues.
One is the 4.8 on/off alarm which i think i can sort by simply leaving the machine turned on for a sustained period of time. Is that right???
The main issue however is that all of a sudden it will not accept any coins at all and they go into the release tray. Im a bit clueless when it comes to the ins and outs of the technical bits of the machine, but any help from anyone would be absolutely awesome.
Thanks,
Luke

on/off alarm basically means what it says, youve switched the machine on and off or vice versa and its a tamper alarm.
As for the machine not taking money all of a sudden, can you provide a little more info?
ie. does this happen during play? when it gets to a certain amount of credits? ect ect ect

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
It basically happens as soon as i turn on the fruit machine. It wont let me put any money in the machine at all so nobody can get any credits.
Does that help at all??

Have you left the machine switched on until the alarm clears as on/off alarms can take a few minutes to clear.
Although the audible alarm on some machines stops after about 30 seconds on others its much longer and you have to put up with the noise, the alarm code will still be displayed until it times out, and the machine will not accept any money.
Switching the machine off and back on before the alarm clears will only reset the alarm time again.
When the alarm does finally clear the machine should power up and play as normal.

Hi,
Thanks for the help. Ive left the machine on for about 30 minutes and the machine will still not accept any coins
When i first turned it on i got the 4.2 memory alarm code and then the 4.8
Would i normally have to wait this long??
Is there anything else i can possibly try??
Thanks
Luke

You should not have to wait that long, 5 mins at most.
Switch the machine on and check the power supply in the base of the machine,it should have 5 LEDs on it and all should be lit up,if any of them not lit take note of which position IE 1-5 starting nearest the plug fitting as these will show if all voltages are on at the power supply.
