impulse flashback how to get engeneer mode??

first off hello every1 i am newe here looks cool from wat i can see

i am looking at getting a impulse machine a 1999 flashback it all seems to work fine but it wont go into engeneer mode i opend the frount and preced the gray button on the pcb (motherboard) b ut nothing happend so i tryed it 2-5 times and still nothing can any 1 help plz
i have tryed opening the cash draw and pressing start but it still wont do anything but shut it all up and it takes coins fine and seems to play fine
