star wars a new hope | alarm no chip id, 32-26

Post by pat_man »

Hi,

I have a Barcrest Star Wars A New Hope machine which I bought three years ago and has had no problems.

Unfortunately when I turn it on the alarm sounds this message. Alarm 52-36, No Characteriser, No ID Chip. In a loop.

A rat has came into the machine due to myself leaving the bottom door open and it's chewed some wires, which caused the message.

I'd like to know how to fix it, if I can fix it. Or if somebody can fix it.

I've done some searching on the web to try and and find a solution to the problem but no luck as yet.

If anyone has any advice I'd be really grateful.

chewed through the red barbus leads at the bottom of the machine?,near the power supply, sounds like theres no power going to the i.d cell, which is security chip, (characteriser)

I think the rats have been all over these for some considerable time.
