Then close it it can sometimes them pay a little but more before the error comes again, like now I just did a hopper dump and like £30 in coins came out but then it alarmed... And sometimes it's done it when 5 coins are coming out .. Any ideas thanks

i'm not sure which machine you have.

i'm guessing its a compact hopper, but there a few diffrent models.
post a picture of the hopper and i'll tell you how to clean it...

the parts in pictures 1 and 3, you will need to dismantle the tubing to get to the hopper.

you will eventually find a part that loooks like this buried beneath it all.

Image

the coin will have to pass through an opto or set of opto's when leaving the hopper, this is the part that needs cleaned.

sort of difficult to explain the process.....

Cheers Buzzer.... Does it all come apart quite easy... Probably best to strip it all down and clean it all im guessing!!! Anything specific to clean it with??

easy enough to strip down, start by taking the top piece off and remove bits till you get to the hopper.
trickier to put back together, you need 6 hands to hold the bits in place lol

you only really need to clean the opto, once you get it out post a picture of it and i'll tell you what and how to clean.
there are diffrent versions of this hopper, need to know excatly which one you have.

if you look here, there are two clips, put your fingers in behind them, forcing the clips out.

the plastic case will split in two and you can pull the hopper out.

then we will see which hopper you have.

the bit within the blue line is the hopper unit itself.
remove the two screws.

you will see a clear bit of perspex reflector thingy and 4 opto's , the plasic bit where the opto's are house should also be removed.

clean the opto's with a dry cloth and use glass cleaner on a cloth to clean the perspex.

note carefully what you do when disassembling as the parts only go back in the correct way.

put it all back together and give it a try. I would't rebuild the full tray before testing, just put the hopper together.

forget all that, i think i see your problem now... see image below......
