Hi guys, how are you?
Im having a technical issue with my Astra Club Millionaire slot machine. Im getting an error message saying HOPPER SIGNAL ERROR - HOPPER COIN SWITCH FAULT
I cannot find this hopper switch, I've checked all cabling etc. I cannot find any faulty cabling for example.
Anyone help me please?

That machine was only released in the Netherlands but looking at the cab it's the same as Ring a Bell so hopefully someone (not me alas) can help?

i take it you have checked there is not a £1 coin jammed in the hopper.
i'm not sure which hopper it will have, but it could be a old azcoyn hopper,
the first ones used a microswitch to count the coins exiting the hopper before moving on to opto senors.
possibility that the switch is jammed closed....

if you have changeds the whole payout unit and checked the wiring, the next step i would take would be to replace the board and see what happened.
can u power the machine up with the door open and test the hoppers or does it alarm that way too?

Got it working again, thanks for helping out. I did a ram clear and checked all cabling again and now everything works

!
One more question. There are two hoppers. 1 EUR & 2 EUR. can it also accept other coins? It would be great if even rejected coins would go in the coin box below in stead of giving it back but Im not sure if that is configurable.
Thanks again for your advise
