Fruit Machine Chat

Hi All,

I'm new to the forums and just wanted to say hi first, before begging for help!

I've got myself my first machine and cannot get it off free play. The history of the machine is that it was once off free play and the previous owner said that a friend had "some how manged to put it on free play"

I found the top door taper hanging inside the machine I have put that back and checked the COM / NO connections with the diagram inside the machine that seems to be fine. I also checked that the tampers are in the correct order i.e. cash box, top door and lock but when i do this it still comes with error 48 which is tamper.

When I take the top door tamper out it boots up fine and then adds £15 free play credit.

Any advice / help would be much appreciated.

Might be stating the obvious but is the bottom door in secure? Thats usually what enables free play.

Bottom door is secure as when I open it I get read meters option. I have 3 tamper switches, anyone know if there should be any more as i found one hanging in the machine...had a good look but cant see anything.

I'm sure i'm missing something simple or missing the plot lol
