Fruit Machine Chat

hi
i have a maygay machine and it was fine until some coins got stuck in the coin slot so i undid the part above the hopper that the coins go through and freed the coins.
turned the machine back on and now i get the code 1.6 mech note error
the machine doest have a note reader (coins only)
just turned it on to day and it has lost the date on the machine and it can not remember the last pay out.
battery problem?????????
any ideas please

i have just put a meter on the battery and it reads 4.25
also the lights just flicker and some of the features are not working.
all have happened at the same time?????????????????
