I basically want to change my stake down, Is it possible on this machine?
Also i have a key that i thought was for the refill on the front? not sure, but it doesnt fit.. is that how i was supposed to change the stake? the previous owner didnt know because he never changed the stake..

thats all for questions really.. is there anything else i should know being new to this? like resetting for my reference or anything basically.. Thanks.

those are the least of my problems right now actually.

since getting home from work, my machine has now decided it doesnt want to work anymore. i had a few goes. got the feature up and then errorss...

all im getting from it now is a clicking noise from the speaker..

the reset led is flashing. the vdisp led wont light and neither will the security light.. any help would be massively appreciated... i've googled yet again but nobody ever replies to anyone or the threads never get to the end solution!

hi mate, this should be running on the"epoch tech", (the board is normally at the back of the machine with 6 green led's on it).According to my manual for my machine, this is what should happen regarding power up:-
"on power up ld3 4 &5 illuminate first to show that voltage is present, along with ld1 which shows the board has booted up, when ld2 lights this shows the software is running. (ld6 is not required in this machine)
the led's are an indication of error and should all be on in normal conditions(except ld6) until an error occurs. there is a voltage error if 3,4 and 5 don't light, ld2 not on shows the software is not running, and ld1 not lit indicates the board has not booted properly" hope this helps you out to find what's not running, but all the individual boards should have a green flashing led on them.

thanks for your help. i managed to sort it somehow in the end.. i ended up just wiping the mainboard up with a tissue. cleaning most of the dust and stuff from it and it did the job...

i now have another problem... My coin mech is being very fussy.. i took it out to clean it, cleaned loads of dirt out of it. it was really bad... but now since putting it back in. its worse... i took the side screw out as i read somewhere and cleaned there too. theres a metal piece next to the flap where the accepted coins go in.. im thinking this might be the problem? theres a bit of solder with a small wire/bit of metal that goes into the unit.. but the connection is broken? are these supposed to be 1? its hard to explain what i mean but somebody might know.. could i solder these bits together? or like.. bridge the gap with some foil or something? i dont really want to buy a new coin mech as it does accept coins now and then so i know its not completely knackered. is there any site that shows me how a coin mech actually works so i can figure this out?

its a c435a btw.
