hi i have a hot stuff , not been used for some time, plugged it in and keep getting this message and an alarm, coin opto 17.83 , took the hopper to pieces and cleaned it, but still doing the same thing?

any ideas please guys

it sounds like the infared light that counts the coins out of the hopper is either dirty (clean with a cotton bud) or has just gone faulty, they do go like this from time to time, you may need a new one or new hopper.
