Hi,
help needed with this machine. It´s running a MPU4 with 2 Asahi Seiko SA-595 coin hoppers. The payout has earlier been disabled by disconnecting the hoppers. It´s a private machine for amusement only. To amuse my grandchildren I would like to have the machine in full working order.

I have not found a service manual for this machine, so if someone could help me get the manual or give me instructions how to connect the hoppers it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi there..

It could be that the hoppers are disconnected from the board, or that they are disconnected form the hopper. Also there may be no wires there at all if they have been removed from the machine.

Check to see if the wires are there, then have a look at the board and look for 'payout'.

There are 5 "loose end"-wires close to the switch inputs at the MPU4. the loose wires are connected via 2 contact blocks to the hoppers. The hoppers are 2, one for paying out 20 Swedish Krona (SEK), 2 x 10 SEK coins, one for paying out 100 SEK 10 X 10 SEK coins. (The machine, and I, are in Sweden. Obviously the machine is intended for Sweden since it "speaks" Swedish and all labels are in Swedish.)

The loose ends, exept one, are fitted with Molex (?) terminals. (The sloppy tapes are from mine identification.)
The one without terminal is red/orange and seems to have been cut off this on e is connected to "Coin Level-Common" at both hoppers.
The ones with Molex terminals are:
Red/black (or black/red?) connected to 20 SEK hopper "Coin Level - High"
Brown/black connected to 20 SEK hopper "Coin Level - Low"
Yellow/black connected to 100 SEK hopper "Coin Level - High"
Orange/black connected to 100 SEK hopper "Coin Level - Low"

Hope this gives a better picture!
