machine knocks off after about 5 mins play help

i have a fruit machine wet and wild after playing for 5 mins it knocks off if i switch it off at the plug and switch it back on it works again for another 5 mins the led on the board stays on any ideas thanks

If this machine is a Bellfruit, QPS or a Mazooma machine the problem lies with the power supply. Very common fault in these type of machines. Best way to fix is to get a new/seconhand power supply.Will cost you around £40-£50. This will more than likely cure the problem.

Might be worth checking the harness from the power supply to MPU also. Sometimes just unplugging and re-seating both plugs may help.

Common fauld definitely the PSU but as Steve says check the loom is securely connected too.

thanks to all that responded ive fitted second hand power supply bought from ebay for £21.00 and machine works fine thanks again
