Fruit Machine Chat

Hi i have a barcrest mpu 4 fruit machine called lotty time.

it sounded an alarm with code ER 1.1

after turning the machine off and opened the door and checked for loose connections the alarm stopped

i then noticed my hopper had around £20 in it so turned the refile key and started to input coins.

well the coin did not go into the hopper they fell straight threw to the cash boxs.

so i think the fruit machine thinks the hopper is full.

how do i empty the hopper so i can start again.

also i have found a service manual but i am after the user manual for programming the settings. so i can change max pay out setup the percentage and how much to put in etc..etc..

Just turn the refill key and it should say how many £1's the hopper is short by. To reset it, open bottom door and turn refill key, inside the cashbox door where the overflow money collects there should be a push switch marked "hopper dump"( it hard to find but is there somewhere) press and hold this for 3secs, machine should beep when u release it, then press start button to dump the £1's. After that just put all the dumped float straight back in the hopper, close all doors, take keys out,should be ok now. hope that helps
