Hi guys great forum I was wondering if anyone can help me??

I've just bought my first fruit machine it's a maygay "bubble & squeak" hopper style fruit machine it was working fine for the first couple of hours but now I'm having trouble with it.

I opened it up to stick some money in the hopper and to change a bulb that was blown, since then when you turn it on only some of the lights light up the reels have now moved out of sequence the alarm is sounding and the security light is flashing on the motherboard thing.

Can anyone help me out I've literally only had the machine 1 day and I'm already thinking I've wasted my money

thanks cal

I wonder if there's an LED code for LED malfunction?

Anyway enough of that. We have resident experts especially bred for their supreme quality in offering technical AWP advice. I think this all takes place in laboratories situated near Peterborough.

In the meantime I will give you this advice from the Epoch Owners club (currently twinned with the Austin Allegro owners club).

Check all the connections are plugged in within the machine, check all the boards and connectors, give the PSU (power supply unit at base left of machine) a kick. Is the hopper plugged in? Blow tactically at bits of fluff.
Stare angrily at the reel driver board and main board as if it's not the PSU it's probably a transistor or a transvestite or a Transit Van somewhere causing a problem. Or the battery, always the bloody battery. It's probably a little pea sized canister thing wired onto the main board. Any leaking or corrosion?

Hopefully it'll be one of these, but no LED code and a whooping alarm indicates a main board problem.

However, someone else may be along later to help and advise, which is just as well really.
