i today fulfilled a long-standing wish and acquired myself a cops and robbers £200 jackpot club fruit machine (with 'millionaires row' feature in the centre when keys are acquired if this helps with identification).from its service history it is at least 11 years old.

everything is fine except for one thing - i need it to be totally muted,and although i have it set at volume 00,it still plays a melody when the feature is activated.can anyone help me by telling me how i can do this?i have had a look at the circuit board looking for fuses but nothing appears labelled.any help would be hugely appreciated.

Just pull the speaker plug, easiest way.

where would this speaker plug likely be/look like?forgive my ignorance on the subject,it is my first acquisition

find the speaker as most are on the back of the machine near the top and pull off the plug.
you wont get a shock from it
