Hi

Repaired an italian job machine and now fully working :)

How do i change the stake down from 25p to perhaps 10p, ive found the DIL switches but dont seem to make an effect.

Also, how do i clear the memory on the board? i read it was by pressing the function button on the mpu and the red hopper switch, which takes me to the menu on the display... and then hitting cancel for 5 seconds - this does nothing

And one more for now :)
How much do i need to fill the hopper to get it full or at least able to pay out?
i dont have a refill key - do i need one?

thanks in advance!

Could it be that there's a stake/jackpot key instead ?

Whilst a refill key is certainly convenient, it's certainly possible to do without one. Open the top door, locate the rear of the refill lock, where you'll see 2 wires are attached. Conecting these 2 wires, will effectively act the same as turning a refil key. Don't forget to disconnect them again once you've finished whatever you're doing.

My advice regarding the filling of the hopper, is to use as many £1 coins as you have (£50 is more than sufficient) and use the "dump hopper" facility. It's by far the quickest, and the machine will then sort out the correct level for you afterwards, topping itself up or diverting any excess to the cash boxes below.
