Just aquired 2 fruit machines, Super Mab X and Ready Steady go. Both £15 Jackpots.

The Super Mab X has a Sticky 1st reel, the machine fires up lovely and resets tself - takes your coins, registers your credits - then the first reel sticks on super every time.. Any ideas?

The ready steady go is another tidy machine, however this one shows C1 code fault and your money falls through - not sure if all hopper etc is there?

All bulbs work etc and both machines very tidy with domed top... how much will it cost me to sort them out? And what would be there value fully firing?

Thanks in advance - total newbie.... Heres hoping... :? :

soumds like the first reel is catching, you could swap the connecter with the next reel to see if it is actually the reel that is faulty, the c1 alarm is a coin fault, make sure there are no coins jammed in,if it is still the same switch of the machine and disconnect the mech then switch back on and if the error code goes off then you have a faulty coin mech.the mech would be about £20 and I don't know about a reel but they probably don't cost much either, the value I don't think is a lot because they appear on ebay for a few quid

Try cleaning inside the top hinged part of the coin mech with a cloth and some furniture polish (applied to the cloth, not sprayed in the mech!).
