NV8/10 settings for a Barcrest MPU5 machine

Feel like a bit of a wally even asking this question, but can anyone tell me what the correct Dil settings should be on an NV8/10 if fitted to an MPU5 based machine ? Serial. Parallel special etc etc ? I have always fitted NV4s to these in the past, and never had to think about it. Now that I want to start fitting the later and better NV8/10s, it's made me question myself as to the correct settings.

Yep, got it sorted thanks.
It was a Genesis cabinet, and with the only relevant switch(es) being 3 &/or 4, I had a little play.
It was clearly not both switches in the up position, as the working NV10 was taken from a Bellfruit cabinet, and didn't work on the Barcrest in these positions. That only left 3 more permutations. I flicked both 3 & 4 down, and hey presto, it lit up and started taking notes again.
It doesn't take them very well, but then again, it didn't take them very well on the Bellfruit. I guess the unit needs a clean or a service.
I note you suggested sw3 only ~ I wonder whether or not I should've moved sw4 as well, or does this not make any difference ?
