I need an engineer to look at my fruity.

Post by fallwood »

Hi it's me again  . Guess what !!! , I've got another busted fruity :P .

I need an engineer to come and have a look at my popeye the sailor fruity, its got a fault on one of the light circuits which is affecting about 10 of the lights, they are all on the same colour wire but I cant find any problem with the loom so I assume its at board level. Is anyone available in the Leeds/West yorkshire area that could have a look at it for me , I'd hate to bin it as its my favourite fruity.

Cheers.

I dont really have the skill or knowledge to start messing with the board, is it fixable or is a new board the best option, if its a new board does anyone have one I think its a jpm system 5 board.

I can put you in touch with people who can fix your board - otherwise a new board is the simplest option.

yep transistor on a jpm board, your best bet is to buy a working board and keep the old on for spares incase you ever get the fault again, plus they can be fiddly to change or it could just be my chunky fingers, lol
