Error 44

Firstly Hello all.
I hope someone can help me with my Maximus Cash machine (Mazooma).Its set to 25p play & 25 quid jackpot,i've brought a adjustable prize/stake key just to change it to 20p play,it didn't work so i reinserted the fixed key and now getting a "no key error 44" on the display & the machine won't play,anyone got any ideas please ?
Any replys please try to keep em as newbie friendly as possible lol.

It's quite possible that you haven't inserted the key properly or maybe not in the correct place. Also perhaps one of the pins is damaged. Remove the key and replace it, probably nothing too seriois. If still ot working, try it with a different key...

Thanks for reply m8 but still no joy,its deffo in the right place & checked the pins,if i open the top door the machine loads up perfect then press start it gives me 50 credits and plays without a flaw,close it and i get the error.

Have you tried a different key as Stewy suggested?
They don't often go wrong but you never know...

All sorted now,it was the % key,changed that and all is well

Sound, Glad you got it sorted. The machine will play fine in with the service door open as it goes into Test Mode and as you said, you can just play off the credits. The minute you lock the machine up you will see that the problem returns.
