Hi, new on here so sorry if I've made any mistakes, I have a Red Gaming Hi Lo Silver, now it was all working sound was working perfect then all of a sudden just stopped, the machine it's self is still working as it should just no sound at all, I've checked the connection that comes from the main board is in right and the connections on the actual speakers and they look fine, I am getting that little buzz type noise you normaly get from the speakers just no sound
Can anyone help? Also I'm looking for £70 JP decals for it if anyone knows where I may be able to find them?
Tried putting it higher, it's not even making any sounds when you put it on test or even when you press hopper top up it's not making any sound at all it's driving me mad just don't know what it is
are you sure the black plug on the mpu is in properly? (no offence lol, but its possible for them to look in but e sitting between the board and plastic casing)
failing that try a diffrent speaker, i cannot recal ever having a mpu5 with a sound fault..
Which black plug do you mean, there is a long white one with 2 black and 2 grey wires on I've pushed that in properly its in the socket that says audio at the top corner of the board, it does seem as if something isn't connected properly but there's only that plug I can see and that seems connected?
There is actually a smaller plug, it's white and it's square with 4 holes in it that has black wires only, it's near the area where that plug is, it's not connected to anything and I can't see anywhere to connect it too?
The plug that is connected now is a long rectangle shape that's the one with the grey and black wires and the wires in the actual speakers are grey and black, the other one that's connected to nothing is a complete different shape it's square about 2cm wide, it has 4 holes in it where I would of thought pins go Into? I havnt a clue what it's for?
Don't have any other speakers to try will have to try get hold of some, thanks for your help tho I will give them all a try and hope one of them is the issue.
