I have recently bought a pie factory fruit machine but the program card needs replacing.
I am an absolute novice when it comes to the workings of fruit machines.
Do I need a specific Pie Factory MPU5 program board/card or will any MPU5 program board work?
Does anyone know where I would be able to track down such a program board/card?
Sorry if these are silly questions. Thanks

mpu5 program cards rarely go faulty, how do yuo know it needs replacing?
any program card will do but you will need the appropriate eproms

The bloke who sold it to me told me that he had removed the program card to use in another machine so I needed to get a new one. I didn't quite appreciate what he meant!!
How does one find these EPROMs !!!
As I said, I am pretty clueless!
Thanks

you would have to find someone in the industry who would be prepaired to sell you a set, not something you would find on ebay..
i think the guy who sold you the machine is being a bit "cheeky" selling you a machine without a gamecard.
obviously its untested so could be more problems...

To be fair it was cheap! I was probably naive as to how easy it would be to locate a card!
Thanks anyway
