replacment epoch board

i have a new board .
what is the best way to get the chips off to put on the new board :?

By gently lifting them, a bit at a time, and alternating from end to end, so that they come up as straight and level as possible. I generally use a small flat blade screwdriver.
Removal is far easier than re-fitting the proms, when you must be extremely more careful not to bend or break any of the pins/legs.
