hi i have a deal or no deal crazy chair fruit machine the problem is the hopper is sayin it needs £250 when the hopper refill is £125 it thinks a note accepter is fitted even tho its not lol on the hopper it says £125 if no note acceptor is fitted if it is then the float needs to be £250 if anyone can help me out thanks guys

the jackpot is £70
nope they is no note acceptor fitted a think the machine thinks a note acceptor is fitted somehow cos its sayin the the float should be £250
even tho the hopper on the label says £125 the float should only be £250 when it has a note acceptor fitted
yes a dumped the hopper and it dumped £86
sorry if a explain wrong

2 thoughts spring to mind, the first of which is ~ why worry about it ? ~ put the £86 back in and let the machine find its' own float level, whatever that may be ~ it's what they're designed to do ~ it'll just take a little longer for any £1 coins to drop to the bottom cash boxes. It's not as though the machine isn't making money in reality, it's just that the coins are in the hopper and not readily accessable.
My second thought would be to see if the machine thinks there's a note acceptor fitted ~ is there a loom plugged into the board, which would feed a note acceptor ~ if so, remove it. Also, check your Dil switch settings compared to your manual, as some machines need to have a switch flicked to say that there's a note acceptor fitted in order for the machine to switch to a higher float level. It may just be that you need to flick the switch back again.

a did put the £86 back in for it to find its own float but when a put pounds in they drop to the bottom and not into the hopper but it still adds it to the hopper balance for example if the hopper says it has £86 pound in and i play £3 it adds that £3 to the hopper balance so it would read £89 when a use the refill key but that £3 pound has droped to the bottom trays instead of the hopper also a cant find anything on the dil switchs about the note accptor to turn it off just incase it thinks it has one joined?
also a cant find a cable that would join to a note accptor on the board do u know where this cable would join on the board?
thanks for your time in helpin me

If it were my machine, I'd first of all check that the routing plug is correctly fitted to the mech. If that appears to be ok, then I'd be looking at changing the mech itself for a known good one. Make sure that the routing plug from your machine is transferred to the new mech.
If you're lucky, tagged to the loom for the mech, there will be a "spare" routing plug. This isn't actually a spare, but a routing plug for a different mech, usually a cashflow.
With regards the main board, the note acceptor loom will plug onto one of the vacant sets of pins around the perimiter of the board ~ from memory, I think it's stamped alongside with AUX or something like that, together with either a small white or grey plastic dot.
