Coin acceptor

Post by nude777 »

Hi All great forum,

I have a GLOBAL wildside club machine and want to know how to change the coin mech to divert the 20ps into the hopper which holds ££'s and 20ps at the moment the 20ps are falling into the cash bin which I dont want, the mech is a "SR5 Componants BETA" it accepts 5p,10p,20p,50p,1.00,2.00 £ coins, just want the 20ps to go in the 20p section of the hopper. can anyone please help?

Thanks in advance N777

Am I right in assuming that you have 2 different hoppers ? Or is there a hopper for the £1 coins and a small tube for the 20p ? Have you tried dumping the float ?

No its one hopper but with 2 compartments within it see pic, but now am wondering if its for ££s?? the one with the ££s in it has £220 inside so can hold a least £350.

The hopper that doesn't have any coins in it looks like a £1 hopper bed. When playing the machine, try winning £1.60 and see what happens. Most Club machines round the figure up to the nearest £1, so it will actually pay out £2. If so, then you can assume they are both £1 hoppers.

You are right, M/C rounds the win off to the pound in the form of a bonus so if the win is £2.50 it gives a bonus of 50p so to give £3.00. Ok so when the hopper is full the other hopper bed is empty but does not fill up with ££'s they just drop in the cash bin, is this normal?.

thanks

Not familiar with your particular machine, but I suspect it's capable of being set to a jackpot of £500, even if it needs to be fitted with different e.proms ~ if set to this larget jackpot, then a larger float will be required and the 2nd hopper will come into play.
I think you're worrying without cause.
