BARCREST UP N OVER NOT LIGHTING UP

Post by johnyboy »

Hi all, this is my first time on here.

Im hoping someone can help!

I just got hold of the barcrest machine "up n over" (MPU5)

It all works ok apart from i dont have any lights on it?

Could this just be a bulb problem or something to do with a MUX 5?

I dont know much about machines and would like to get it working fine.

Thanks!

This isn't a manned 24 hour fruit machine techincal advice line!

If someone knows the answer to your problem, I'm sure they'll say so.

The power supply output should be 34v-33v

So which fuses do i need to replace all in the transformer? i had 10a glass fuses but these have blown.

My PSU is a STADIUM MPU-LF.

I replaced all the fuses in my fruity today, and it keeps blowing the 34V fuse, does anyone know why? On the MUX 5 board when you switch the machine on, the 34V LED lights up then dies and seems to then blow the 34V in the transformer.

And the 34V LED on the MPU5 dosent light up either but all others light up fine.

Please help!!!

Hi there it sounds like your psu has a faulty cap or bridge, these are a few pounds to purchase and should fix the fault. I would highly recomend a new psu unless you have some basic electrical skills. It should be a green label (ldv) psu and last I ordered they are £60 on exchange for faulty.
