Club Spotted Dick (Global) - Doesn't Light up on power on

Hi all, first post on here, i have just registed after only buying my first ever machine this morning!!!

I saw it demo'd in the guys house and everything worked perfectly. I got it home and again everything is perfect, except....

1.)...Is there a proper way that you are supposed to turn them off, as in cut the power completely at bed time etc. Because...

2.)...When i turn it off at the plug socket, its fine. But when i turn it back on again the speaker buzzes and the inside lights come on (on boards etc) but none of the game lights come on. The only action is inside the machine and the speaker, nothing else.

I turned it on first time in my house it was fine, then i stood on the wire and the plug popped out and it did number 2 above. After some fiddling it just came to life, but obviously i dont want to have to guess what to touch and fiddle with every time i need to turn it off.

So basicly, how do i correctly turn it off (is there a power down procedure?)....and is there something i need to flick/change whatever when i turn it on so it all comes to life?

There is no 'power down' procedure mate. Just switch off at the wall.

However because your machine is made by global, these are prone to the occasional battery and ram problems.
