Carry on Clubbin' by Global ~ Power supply needed
Just what it says on the tin. Has anybody out there got a power supply for one these? It's a Stealth PSU, the same that I believe was fitted to a number of other Global machines of that era, like Heartbreak Hotel and Club Up Your Rigging

Are you sure the power supply is broken? Have you checked all fuses? Can you look inside if there are not blowed capacitors?reelman wrote:Just what it says on the tin. Have you tested it with digital multimeter?
I have checked all the fuses on the PSU, only by eye I must admit, and all looked good. As for a capacitor, I wouldn't know one if it poked me in the eye. I do have a digi multi-meter though, but am out of my depth on what to test here, and what voltages I should expect to see.
My logic in diagnosing the PSU is that I've changed the main board for one that is known to be good, but this made no difference. With not a lot else to suspect in the cabinet, I'm blaming the PSU ~ rightly or wrongly. Any more clues or guidance gratefully received.

I guess I'm just getting lazy in my old age ~ even more reason to check the fuses properly I guess, as my eyes are no longer what they were. Don't suppose you've got a spare kicking about by any chance have you, or can give any advice on getting it repaired or actually repairing it, as these old PSUs seem to be a bit like rocking horse do dah ?
